Iftekhar Ahmad, the Founder President of Bangladesh Forum Qatar, is a sound business professional with experience of working in organizations like, British American Tobacco, World Bank and currently in Ali Bin Ali Group of Qatar as its Group Chief Financial Officer and lived in Bangladesh, Turkey, Ukraine, UAE, Japan, UK and currently in Qatar.

Iftekhar is an Electrical and Electronics Engineer from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He has done his MBA from Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. He did his Chartered Management Accounting from United Kingdom. He is also a certified Prince 2 Project management practitioner. Iftekhar is a recipient of President Gold Medal in Bangladesh for his achievement in business school.

Mohammad Shafiqul Islam

Mohammad Shafiqul Islam is one of the founders and initiators of the Forum. With years of senior-level professional experience in multinational organizations in Bangladesh he has moved to Doha and joined Ooredoo Group in 2009. Currently he is working as Director Consumer Business in Ooredoo Group overseeing the consumer marketing in 10 countries in Asia, Middle East and Africa.

He is an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore, Pakistan and business graduate from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India.

He has keen interest in community services, sports, reading and travel.

Yusuf Saeed

Yusuf Saeed has been working for Qatar National Bank Group (QNB) since 2008 and currently is heading Structured Finance business globally for the group, including 27 presence countries. Seasoned corporate banker and structured finance specialist with 24 years of experience.

Prior to joining QNB, worked in different senior management positions in global banks (Citi, Standard Chartered Bank and ANZ), heading structured finance, cash management and relationship banking. He has bank restructuring experience of three years in large two local banks in Asia, last one as head of corporate and investment bank.

Dr. Rashed Noman has extensive experience in the area of oil field development. He started his career as a Petroleum Reservoir Engineer in the UK initially with British Petroleum and then worked with Texaco UK and subsequent with Zadco in Abu Dhabi. He has worked with Qatar Petroleum in several positions and is currently Head of Development for Al Shaheen Field, the largest oil field in Qatar. He holds a BSc in Fuel & Energy Engineering from Leeds University, and also an MSc and PhD degree both in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London. He is a registered Chartered Engineer in the UK and serves on the editorial committee of Journal of Society of Petroleum Engineers (US).
